Biography

Patricia A Briddell RN, OCN, is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She was educated in the schools of Wicomico County. She was a graduate nurse in the first ADN class from Wor Wic Community College. Patricia, an Oncology Certified Nurse has 42 years of nursing experience; 24 of those years have been in the Oncology arena. Currently, she is a staff nurse with TidalHealth Medical Oncology and Hematology in Salisbury, Maryland. Patricia is the first triage nurse for the Medical Oncologists. This position was created 4 years ago to aid in the decrease of emergency room visits and 30-day readmissions of Oncology patients. During the first year in this position, there was a 49% decrease in emergency room visits including 30-day readmissions.

Patricia is a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grand Mother. She loves God and is a faithful member of St James AME Zion Church, Salisbury, MD, on the Eastern Shore District of the Philadelphia Baltimore Annual Conference of the Mid Atlantic Episcopal District. She serves the church on all levels, oftentimes using her nursing skills. During this pandemic, Patricia has served the community as a vaccinator in the TidalHealth Vaccination Clinic and the Maryland State Mass Vaccination Clinic at the Wicomico Civic Center.

Every day Patricia Thanks and Praises God for who He is and what He has done in her life. She always asks God to help her make a difference in somebody’s life.
